What the Paleo diet is really good for!
You’ve probably heard of the Paleo diet – it’s been around for years now!
At one point on my own healing journey, I went on the Paleo diet, simply because it was the only thing my body could digest.
So what is the Paleo diet, exactly? Well, it’s based on the diet that humans ate during the Paleolithic period, when everyone hunted and gathered their food.
The diet eliminates any foods that are grown and harvested, such as grains and legumes. Instead, you eat foods such as berries, nuts, seeds, vegetables and meat.
So, what do I think about this diet? Be sure to watch today’s video to find out! Especially if you’re considering going Paleo.
In the video, I explain:
* What Paleo is great for
* Why it’s better as a short-term healing diet
* How eating Paleo affects the gut
* What the microbiome actually needs for optimal health
This can be a great curative diet, especially while you’re healing your digestive tract. But it’s best not to do it long-term, as you can run into some nutritional deficiencies.
No matter what diet you end up choosing, you want to choose high-quality, clean foods that give you a solid foundation of health.
My book, “The Food Solution,” is a great place to start. It includes a 21-day diet detox designed to clean up your diet, plus it’s a great way to lose those extra pounds. If you don’t have the book, you can go HERE to purchase your copy.
If reading isn’t your preferred way to learn, I also have a new “Food Solution Course,” designed as a compendium to the book, where I walk you through each chapter. It also includes an audio series that talks you through the 21-day diet detox.
Because the course is brand-new, it’s super discounted! It’s normally $195.99, but for you, it’s just $47.95. (Almost $150 off!) You can check it out here: https://drcari.kartra.com/page/ghr4e
Stay tuned for my next email, where I’ll be talking about juice cleanses. You can also subscribe to my Youtube channel where I post all my latest videos.
Sending you so much love!
Yours in health,
Dr. Cari
