Tired of being too sensitive?
Are you a “Sensitive” Person? Do you have food intolerances? Are you bothered by chemicals?
If so, you want to read this!
There is a phenomenon happening that you may not be aware of, and yet you may be one of the people affected by it:
Large numbers of people are becoming too sensitive for their own good.
This is being seen in many cases where health challenges are being aggravated by sensitivities to food and environmental factors. It is unprecedented in the history of man and totally new to healthcare and healthcare practitioners.
For years the best option we had for people with multiple food and/or chemical sensitivities was to instruct them to avoid the foods that they are sensitive to. We are now seeing that this alone is not enough.
The reason avoidance is not enough is because it does nothing to address why a person is becoming sensitive in the first place.
You see, we used to think people were developing sensitivities because the food they were being exposed to was a problem, that it had been altered to the point that it was more C.R.A.P. than food, and/or that the abundance of chemicals we are exposed to was causing an overload to the system.
While in most cases one or more of these is true, we have now learned that avoidance is only a temporary part of the solution.
The good news is that research is catching up with the problem and we are now learning what is happening in the body AND what can be done to help people regain their tolerance.
When a person has multiple sensitivities, first we need to ask: Why is their body developing these intolerances? Identifying the factors that are affecting the person not only helps them recover from their sensitivities, but also helps them avoid an increased problem.
If this speaks to you, and you’ve been avoiding your favorite foods for long enough, you may want to ask yourself a few questions:
- How is your overall external & internal stress level?
- How happy do you feel?
- How is your liver doing?
- How nutrient-rich is your diet?
- Are you emotionally programmed to have intolerances?
If you are uncertain as to how to answer any of these questions, or if you know there is room for improvement in any of these areas, than you are a great candidate to increase your level of tolerance and possibly eliminate your sensitivities once and for all.
