The Coronavirus: How to protect yourself!

Every day we’re hearing about the coronavirus in the news, and I know many of you are concerned. I’m here to reassure you and let you know what you can do to protect yourself.

The reason the coronavirus is such a scare is that it’s a new strain and therefore an unknown entity. Officials didn’t know how it spread, or how long it incubated, which created a lot of concern.

Thankfully, we now know more about the virus.

To put it into perspective, up to 650,000 people die from the flu each year worldwide, and 3,000 people have died from the coronavirus so far. Most cases of the coronavirus are actually really mild, and some people don’t even know they have it. Which means the death rate of the coronavirus is likely lower than previously thought. This is all good news.

What’s even more important is that there are many things you can do to support your immune system so that your chances of getting sick (with this virus or any other) are lowered.
