I’ve missed you! (Hormone video series)

Please forgive my absence! I’ve been a busy lady these past couple of months. I traveled to Australia for a Mediherb speakers conference, then headed to Niagra Falls for a Joe Dispenza Advanced Meditation retreat. In the midst of all this, I’ve been getting my new office staff trained. Phew!

Now I’m excited to be back, and I’ve created a video series on a SUPER important topic: hormones.

I’ve literally created 8 different videos on this topic, it’s that important to your health.

You may be wondering, why so much focus on hormones?

Well, hormones affect every one of us, no matter our age or gender. Hormonal balance is vital to our health and well-being. There’s a Traditional Chinese Medicine saying that says to fix a woman’s health, you must balance her hormones.

But here’s the thing: in our culture when our hormones are out of balance, the options we’re given are either to replace the hormones OR to suppress them (like using the birth control pill).

The problem is that these things don’t actually correct the underlying imbalance. I see this with my patients all the time.

The good news is, there are lots of things you can do to support your hormonal health, and this video series will help you to do that! Watch below:

Here’s what you need to know:

Women in their fertility years have different hormones released depending on where they are in their cycle.

Estrogen goes up during the first part of the cycle (stimulating an egg to release) and in the second half of the cycle, progesterone is released (preparing the body for implantation)

If your liver is functioning sub-optimally, excess hormones may not be getting filtered out at the right time. Sluggish liver = estrogen dominance

Xenoestrogens – these chemicals are acting as estrogen and wreaking havoc in our systems, in both women and men. (I have a whole video on this topic coming up!)

Stress, digestive issues, and suppressed emotions can also affect our hormonal health

Stay tuned for my upcoming videos where I’ll dive into fertility, perimenopause, men’s hormonal health, the power of menopause, and more!
